I noticed that my New Year's Resolution to post every work day has finally been violated. On the other hand, it lasted longer than any of the others I made.

Overall it was a pretty good weekend. We didn't get blown away, got some yard work done and I made it all the way through the first section of the "Black Mountain Rag" even if it was at 60% of Doc Watson's speed. I am quite happy to get all but two notes in. The notes in question don't seem possible to play as Doc does, but since they are on the CD, I must assume he really plays them.
I think I really need to take a week or so off and practice my music. It is a lot more fun than my job.
