I have decided that there is a distinct possibility that the Federal Government is a very large, extremely disfunctional family and that in trying to get some additional business, I am dealing with the more "challenged" family members. Our last half dozen proposals are either hung up in court, delayed because of government employee error or have been cancelled. On top of that, half the work we have has not had 2006 money put on the contracts although we are in the fifth month of the government fiscal year.

I w0uld like to take the weekend off, but we have two proposals due early next week.

It is supposed to snow here tonight. I guess I should go buy some milk, bread and batteries.

It's Thursday and time for the Thursday Three. I can't play because I really don't pay any attention to buildings. There are some nice old houses here in Huntsville, but no public building comes to mind at all.

I just hate it when people like this are allowed to air their ignorance.

How dare he make predictions using actual scientifically gathered facts. The darn communist.

Another too full day during which I will not get all the things I need to do done. Now I am working on a proosal that is due tomorrow that I never intended to work on, but since I sent my fellow proposer to DC on a probable fool's errand, I get to do it.

Another day, another challenge. In about 30 minutes, the security inspector shows up. It should be interesting.

This will be a very busy week for me. We continue to work on proposals, have our security inspection by the Feds, lots of day to day stuff and I have to do some paying work. That's a long winded way of saying there won't be a lot here this week.

I must note that I have managed at least one post every working day this year.

Yah me!
