Jim Smith asks in a comment to the post below if I ever owned any of the "World's Worst Cars". I haven't. Considering my bent toward the crazy, that is amazing but I suppose I always knew enough to stay away from the really bad ones. Interestingly, many of the cars that either did or almost did put their manufacturer out of business are not bad cars, just introduced at the wrong time or too expensive to build.
Or like the Explorer, good cars which ran into bad luck such as bad tires or stupid owners.

Christmas went well. My son sent me a book "The World's Worst Cars" and it is a dilly. I may never look at a Pontiac the same again. I especially like the section on cars that either did or almost put their maker out of business. I stopped at the Ford Explorer.
Lee and I saw the Narnia movie on Friday. I really liked it. I have been rereading the series and to tell the truth, I am having a little trouble understanding the brouhaha. Lewis retold stories from mythology some with a Christian bent if you look hard.
I conclude that people have way too much time on their hands and really need to get a life.
