I have a new life rule: NO elective surgery. Wednesday I had some (hopefully) non-malignant tumors removed. By the time the Doc finished cutting, he had removed 17 and I had about 18 inches of a 1/2 inch deep cut on my arms, leg and chest. It turns out that you can't have locals for that much cutting (that much is toxic) so I got a "mild" general. I now have a severe case of medicine head and every little cut hurts. Oh well, at least I have the proposal we are working on to console me. My proposal partner is over getting xrays because of possible kidney stones. This should be interesting.

I do believe that Winter may be almost upon us. It was in the 40s this morning and the air had a real brisk feel about it. Someone said the humidity was around 20%. That's low for here. I think I like the Fall the best of the seasons but then, I work inside and don't have to think a lot about how cold it is going to be in the next few months. My brother is a heavy equipment operator and he says there is no doubt the will retire the first minute he can primarily because the cold weather hurts his joints.

We continue to work on proposals and the Government keeps making changes too keep it interesting. I think I am about proposed out.
