Back from Texas and Arkansas. It was hot but then again I don't think Alabama was in any danger of freezing over last week. We had a nice visit with our friend in Arkansas who has cancer. Haven't seen him in 21 years and I have to say he has aged. Of course so have I but I still think of myself as fairly young and it is a bit of a shock to see someone after a long time since their current appearance is at such a variance with your mental image of them.
