I thought I was through at the farm except for being there for the estate sale next weekend, but I have to go over and put the storm windows up so they don't get sold, put a battery in the riding lawnmower and probably several other things. Just two more weekends.
I am looking for someone to sand and finish my hardwood floors. If anyone around Huntsville knows of a good hardwood floor finisher, how about letting me know through email.

My Mother-in-law has moved into a life care facility in Florida. They only take people who are able to live independently and although she is 90, she is able to do so although her advancing macular degeneration makes it hard for her to do a lot things such as cooking. We were concerned that the move would be too traumatic and that she would be depressed and possibly give up. I saw that happen with my Grandmother when circumstances forces her to move from where she had lived for thirty years.
M-in-law made her own decision which I think is the key to successful adaptation to new circumstances. The more control one has over their fortune, teh better the adaptation. In MIL's case, she is adapting very well. In fact, it reminds me of how some children thrive in kindergarten as they realize that there are a lot of interesting things going on.
MIL is participating in exercise classes, has discovered that the food is exceptional and that there are always things to do.
It looks like this will work out well.
